okai...first of all..i like to say that I'm still a teenager...and none of the following is gonna happen any time soon..I'm just planing my future... so...i live in egypt...and i lately had the idea of living in russia...in the future i mean...and i always had a thing for russia ...don't know why...and I'm thinking bout this seriously...but i heared alot of bad things about living in russia...like life standards are low...even its lower than egypt (an life quality in here totally suck) so that makes me think it would be hell in there...its not easy 2 live there...and stuff like that...people always ask me why russia exactly..why not USA...and i don't know what to tell them... because till now i have no reason to live there unless that i want to...I'm gunna be an engineer wen i graduate..so I'm not sure how's that gunna help in russia...i've already started to learn russian an i like the language btw...but I'm just not sure if it worth it...so i wanna ask real people...how is it living in russia...is it bad...or great...i wanna know why should i live there...and why shouldnt i...i also heard alot of good things about the russians...an that made me more exited about it...but am afraid that it may be hard to live there...i also wanna know about salaries in there...and i know money is not everything...but i also don't want any money problems...so bottom of the line...how is it living in there as a foreigner....is it easy 2 get a visa...and should i plan my life to live in russia...any answers are welcome check: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quality-of-Life_Index

If its for wanderlust, da. If its to find someplace better than the U.S., nyet, not a good choice. How about Ireland or Australia?

When you get older you realize that most of your time and energy is put into making money. When making money is important to you and providing for a family, comparing Russia and US makes no sense unless you have some sort of connection somewhere to get you started. An engineer in Russia is lucky to make 20% the same salary as in US. Its your life...your choice.

dear, wat made u think of livng in russia! wil u not fel lonely apartng from ur loved ones! ur home is the safest place in the hole world! i 2 had a draem 2 go n live in china, but wen i left for china, i suddenly began 2 fel homesick!i was misng my homeland so much dat i forgot my breakfast,lunch tea n dinner! i become so weak, n beside dat de world was so different around me! but i tel u dat ur choice for going abroad is'nt so gud lookng, n u were right dat the atmosphere of russia is'nt wel! u shud go 2 USA,UK,UAE n any countries other people cud tel u or u cud hear of...wel now comng 2 the point ,it is easy 2 get a visa.. i'm n't forbadng u 2 live in russia these r only my comments about that.... hope that does help u in makng ur decision about going foreig...GUD LUCK! by the way i'm a teenager 2!!

Russia is a great country - very beautiful, rich and powerful. But life in European or American countries is more stable and predictable than in Russia. It is not the main reason but one of the reasons why Russian beautiful girls leave Russia. You get tired of unstability and unpredictability. You want to live and not to worry what you will live on in several years. The standard of living in Russia for many average people is less than in other developed countries.
