I have a questions to the people that live in russia or have lived in russia in the past 10 years. How popular is the band t.A.T.u. in Russia RIGHT NOW? Are they still popular or do people in russia not know about them anymore?

Sorry, not from Russia but Nastia Pomozova, a t.A.T.u. fan, and friend on facebook lives/ed in Russia and she says they are not as popular there as they were in 2002-2003 and 2005. (same as USA) But as you can see on youtube.com/tatu in their January meeting still have tons of loyal fans. You could add her on facebook and ask more information or talk to Russian fans on the tatu.ru forum. t.A.T.u. is most popular in Brazil right now. They are number one because of their Sparks video. You can also see on their youtube in 2008-2009 they had a great deal of publicity in Russia when their 3rd Russian album and new videos were released and a fan meetings. They will always be loved and remembered. Just not as poplar as before.

its not popular, you dont hear about em or see them ppl know about them, some still have there cds layin around, most pop stars dont stay popular long in russia
