i was wondering why people live in Russia. Why do people want to live there (during 1500-1800) is culture good? What would make you wanna live there/

It wasn't exactly the type of place that was easy to leave. There were no trains, cars or even bicycles then.

Was a time when many people rarely moved from there locality except for reasons of famine persecution etc and was pre industrialization. They probably did not know any better or were unable to move even if they wanted to due to poor transportation and being tied to the land where they lived.

guess there was no other place with vodka and bears where we could live in))

If you're russian, then ofcourse you'd want to live in Russia
