Me and my husband are planning to go to russia. he wants to do a phD, and I wanna go for a bachelor's degree. Can you please advise us what's the best place in terms of education, lifestyle and cost? We are also planning to do some work on the side, to make a living. Is that possible in russia? Thanks.:)

Of course, the best city is Saint-Petersburg!) It's not so overcrowded as Moscow is and it has a lot of good universities.

Moscow, duh. I suggest you decide what field you are interested in, and then chose the Uni which is the best in this field or at least offers the best conditions for foreign students. Good luck :)

Moscow or St. Petersburg. Moscow is more expensive, but Moscow State or St. Petersburg State are both outstanding universities. Both are very hard to get into. Good luck. :)

Moscow is the place to be. But to achieve a comfortable lifestyle, you are going to need a very good income. Depending on your skills, teaching English could provide you with some extra income.
