no, nothing like "hide udder desk or wear certain" but in high school there were lessons of "elementary military training" where students learned to use gas mask, assemble and disassemble AK and other stuff like that. but it wasn't about 'cold war' it was about real wars, like ww2. it was taught in schools since 1939.
