It doesn't have to be Russia. I heard France is pretty nice and flexible. Then again Japan or China both have a lot of culture and beautiful scenery. Egypt is really interesting too - maybe they could be convinced to give up Arabic give English a chance. Since no one cares that Spanish is now taking over the US maybe some other country on the planet can take English and their language can go down the drain. Opinions please -comments from around the world welcome. Especially those of you living in Russia.

Actually in Egypt many people speak English, you do know the British were there? Also road signs are in English. Russia - many people understand English, and they have signs in English In many countries it is common to see signs in more than one language, and for people to speak more than one language. I'm guessing you haven't traveled much. Belgium has 3 official languages, Switzerland has 4 official languages, Spain (where my parents are from) each region speaks a different language. Hungarian has things written in Hungarian and in German. Romania has things in Romanian and Hungarian. Northern Italy where my husband is from people communicate in Italian and in German.
