I hear there is tension between the two! I live in russia and I would not want this to happen! Does russia have nukes? i'm not into politics!

Both Russia AND the US have nukes. If either chose to attack the other, the whole world is doomed. I don't think it's going to happen though. We live in a civilized world where countries don't just attack other countries. Especially now that Bush is leaving. :)

I'd say Russia probably has nukes, if anyone does. I believe Russia will team up with China to try to wipe out Israel. and since we support Israel, that would mean us, too.

You live in Russia and aren't even aware your country has the largest amount of nuclear weapons in the world? Anyway, with the current political climate, I think it's much more likely the US will try to attack Russia, however, it's still very unlikely to happen.

Russia has nukes. Chances of attacking us are probably not very high. Russia and the U.S. faced periods of much greater tension during the Cold War. Some examples: 1. During the initial weeks of the Korean War 2. During the Russian intervention in Hungary 3. During the U-2 Affair, when pilot Francis Gary Powers was shot down 4. During the Cuban Missile Crisis 5. In the hours and days immediately following JFK's assassination, when there was speculation that the Russians were involved None of these periods led to all-out war. Conceivably, with a different system of government now in place in Russia, the conditions have changed and problems of stability in Russian politics could play a role in making the situation more dangerous than it was during the Cold War. But many unusual events would have to happen before Russia would do something so drastic like attacking the USA. Russia has a great deal to lose by doing this. Its economy is tied into Europe's and an attack on the USA would be an attack on NATO countries in Europe. This would be very bad for Russia. I find a war between us very unlikely in the near future.

A war between Russia and the USA is the least to worry about. Worry about those who are fanatical enough to blow the whole world if we don't believe and act their way.

No chance at all. Your government are not fools. Only a fool or a madman starts a war between major military powers. There are other ways of making war, though - and China's economic war has the US down and almost out. It's quite amusing to watch, actually - the US government doesn't even realise it's happening, because it's part of the working of global capitalism, free trade and other idiocies.
