Yeah, there's some, but I don't think the government keeps statistics by race like the U.S. does. Most of the statistics are by ethnicity and I've never seen "Nigerian" or "Tanzanian" show up since the percentage is so small they just put them under "other". I'll guess that it's less than 1%.

Russia had an active program of recruiting Africans to come to Russia for schooling. Whether many of them stayed is another question. The CIA fact book on Russia https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/rs.html#People leaves only about 2% for all Other, and some of those are other categories.
5 :
yes, they are mostly international exchange students and then just a few who are actually born in Russia and are its citizens

litte
7 :
people of all ethnicities live in most countries, so most likely they live there. probly 20%
8 :
Tiny. Probably just a couple of thousand at the most, mainly students from Africa.

They don't live, they merely exist in Russia. The level of rasism among Russians (and I am not talking about its open form but rather about "closet rasism" usually surfacing after the second-third "stopka") is shocking. In Russia, you can still read an appartment offer ad saying "except Caucasians..." or "except blacks/Africans" or "Slavs only".

black as arabs,caucasians,afro-s?...so in sum its 35%....afro-s 1%

Dumb question. Obviously it does, the country is free. Ukraine, Russia, all the Eastern European countries have black people.

There are very few (less than 1%) I lived in Moscow. Maybe I would see a couple every two days. They are mostly university students sponsored by there own countries or some are mixed race Russian nationals. Its actally not very safe for them.

I am a half-black American expat living in Moscow. I have two black American colleagues, and I am sure that there are many more scattered around. Besides the diplomats and business community, there are quite a few African students, which was also the case in Soviet times. There are also many half-black, half-Russian people, usually the children of former African students. There are even a few descendants of idealistic black American socialists who went to Russia in early communist times: http://www.uncg.edu/gar/courses/ahern/syllabus.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_diaspora#Russia As a percentage of the population, you can be sure that they are tiny, like 0.01%. But they have a distinguished history--Pushkin's great-grandfather was from Eritrea! There are a occasional African concerts in the clubs here, like Bilingua and Project OGI: http://www.proektogi.ru

well, very little, maybe only some students... one reason is cold weather .......
15 :
Might have lived but they have probably got killed by the racists as racism is big in Russia.
16 :
Yes, especially in Moscow, that's because Moscow is a very diverse city in Russia.
17 :
Luckily, the percentage is negligible, by far less than 1%. However, the social role of Sub-Saharan Africans is effectively played by native Caucasians, Central Asians, and a variety of other ethnic groups.
18 :
Starting in 2010 I will when I inherit my grandmothers house.
19 :
some but not alot cuz of STUPIED SKINHEADS and racist ppl
