Is there any online homeschooling for american kids who live in Russia?
As we live now in Russia and our son can't take classes in his school, it would be wouldicult for him to catch up with the program at his school in a year when we be back to the US. So it would be great if he take classes online.

Many of the private suppliers of homeschool curricula also have their own online academies. Your biggest problem going online though will be the difference in time zones between the US and Russia! Your son could easily end up having to do school in the middle of the night! For that reason, you may be better off going with something like Alpha Omega's Monarch curriculum ( http://www.aophomeschooling.com/monarch/overview.php ), 'an interactive online curriculum' or the CD-rom based curriculum, Switched on Schoolhouse ( http://www.aophomeschooling.com/switched-on-schoolhouse/overview.php ) as opposed to one of the actual online schools. Alternatively, and away from the online environment entirely, I know for a fact that Sonlight are happy to enrol students from overseas into their homeschooling programme ( http://www.sonlight.com ). Also you don't say how old your son is but Calvert is another American homeschool provider with more than a century of experience of dealing with ex-pat American homeschool students and their families living overseas ( http://homeschool.calvertschool.org ).
