I want to marry my girlfriend, who is a Russian citizen, however she would have to return back to Russia to await her green card to be approved (because her current visa will expire in October). Is there any type of Visa that I can get because I'm married to a russian to stay in Russia? I just want to stay with her

I believe that you can register yourself in Russia as married to a Russian citizen, which then enables you to ask for approval to stay or live in Russia. As with most countries, the authorities will want to be sure your marriage is legitimate and not a ploy to gain residency. I would contact your nearest Russian consulate for further information. By the way, you are a lucky guy. I am head-over with a Russian woman but marriage is unlikely. All the best.
